Satluj on ZEE5: Release Date, Removal, and Current Status
Premiered uncut on 3 July 2026, then pulled for Indian viewers. What we know about availability and what changed.
Search intent right now is blunt: can I stream Satluj? The honest answer is region- and moment-dependent.
What happened
ZEE5 released Satluj digitally on 3 July 2026, promoted as the uncut version after the long Punjab '95 limbo. Variety and Indian trade press covered the global stream drop. Within about two days, Indian users found the title unavailable “until further notice.”
Diljit Dosanjh had already told fans on Instagram Live that a Monday-style pull was imaginable and advised people who could access it to download through legitimate platform features while available. Later reporting quoted producer-side confirmation of government pressure around removal.
Current practical advice (viewer)
Check the official ZEE5 app for your country. Do not trust random “Satluj full movie HD” Telegram dumps—those are usually copyright violations and frequently bundle malware or scams. International library rights can diverge from India catalogue decisions.

July 3, 2026: the surprise release
With no announcement and no promotional campaign, Satluj appeared on ZEE5 in its complete, uncut version. Director Honey Trehan later said the platform released the film exactly as intended. Within hours, Diljit Dosanjh warned on social media: "Watch Satluj soon. It may be removed by Monday."
Removed within 48 hours
He was right. Within two days, the film disappeared from ZEE5 for viewers in India. On July 7, 2026, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting constituted a high-level Inter-Departmental Committee to analyze the film's content. Its findings will shape whatever comes next.
Where things stand now
As of now, there is no official streaming availability in India. Don't trust pirated uploads — they're illegal and often poor quality. Our legal viewing guide tracks the current status, and the homepage guide has the full story.
